Privacy policy

HERODIC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through herodic.com, how we use it and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we send marketing messages only with your consent under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
What we collect
- Waitlist details: your email address and, if you choose to give them, your first name and mobile number.
- Your consent choices: whether you agreed to receive emails and, separately, SMS messages, and when.
- How you found us: the form you used and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, that you came from Instagram).
- Website usage: if you accept cookies, information about how you use the site (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location) through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
How we use it
- To send you early access to our first collection, launch news and your launch discount code.
- To send SMS drop alerts, only if you separately opted in to SMS.
- To understand which channels bring people to HERODIC and improve our website and advertising.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link and every SMS lets you reply STOP. You can also ask us to remove you at any time using the contact details below.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to run the waitlist and website:
- Klaviyo stores the waitlist and sends our emails and SMS.
- Google Analytics provides website statistics.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures and improves our ads.
- Cloudflare hosts and secures the website.
These providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments.
Cookies
Cookies used for analytics and advertising are set only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics may still record anonymous, cookieless visit counts, and the Meta Pixel does not load. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer of the home page.
Keeping it safe
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and your details go straight to Klaviyo. We keep waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
